As a native Long Islander, current resident, and Hofstra Graduate, Ben has worked in various aspects of retail banking, mortgages, financial services, and real estate.  He began his career at The Long Island Savings Bank where he continued after graduation when the bank was brought public by Astoria Federal.  He later worked as a team leader in a local call center and later moved on as a Client Financial Analyst with Citibank as they acquired European American Bank. Ben then decided to add to his knowledge base by joining Preferred Empire Mortgage, a local mortgage broker.  While observing the mortgage industry grow beyond expectations, he decided to again diversify his experience by leaving the mortgage company in June 2006 and pursued a career as a financial advisor with Investors Capital, a nationwide independent broker/dealer.   He helped people with resolve debt issues after the economic downturn in 2008 and he obtained his real estate license in order to help people navigate through those turbulent times.  Observing the real estate market locally over the past 14 years has really given insight to market dynamics.  The combined 20 years of experience allow him to view a client’s complete financial scenario from many perspectives.   He enjoys being able to help business and property owners make good decisions based on their needs.
